The magic of aloe vera and egg whites

More than 500 species of Aloe Succulent exist however only a few are used for medicinal use.

It’s mainly native to tropical, southern African, Mediterranean and India. But today is widely cultivated all over the world for its healing, soothing and medicinal use.


Aloes vera species has been used for centuries to remedy a wide range of internal and external conditions including skin burn, wounds, frostbite, sunburn, relief of skin irritation, redness & itching, skin dehydration, inflammation and many more.


The soothing and healing properties of Aloe vera gel comes from over 200 different antioxidants, minerals and amino acids that can be absorbed topically through the skin. It contains Aloin which is a powerful compound to reduce inflammation and the appearance of hyperpigmentation because of UV damage or hormonal changes.


Aloe vera stores water in a gel form which is an excellent remedy to sooth and hydrate and can increase water content of the outermost layer of the skin. It produces mucopolysaccharides sugar that make the skin retain and lock moisture.


Aloe gel stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid, elastin and collagen which means it helps to address lines, wrinkles and elasticity of the skin and a perfect choice to use for daily anti-aging regiments.

Research and clinical trials have also shown that pure Aloe Vera gel can help with chronic dandruff when it was used on scalp every day.


Aloe vera is the only edible form of Aloe Succulent which has antioxidant properties, vitamin C, vitamin A and vitamin D, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, rich in beta carotene which is helpful for eyes. Useful for IBS for its rich anti-inflammatory and soothing effect on intestines.


Egg whites contain 90% water and 10% protein which is a great source for skin tightening and firming. It helps to reduce pore size and gives a smoother and firmer texture to the skin. It also controls the production of the sebum which is playing a big role in oily and acne prone skin.

How to use:

1- Exfoliate your skin

2- Clean your skin with cleanser

3- Leave the mask (One TB spoon of Aloe gel + 1 egg white mixed) for 15 min

4- Wash with lukewarm water

5- Use moisturising cream

1-3 times a week
